LSF Pro Structures manufactures precision cold-formed light steel framing products for construction projects across Canada. We produce studs, tracks, joists, rafters, trusses, and fully custom panelized frames, all made from galvanized steel. Our focus is fabrication and prefabrication, delivering accurate, reliable steel components that speed up installation and improve building performance. To learn more about us, you can visit About Us.

Cold-formed steel framing (CFS or LSF) is a construction system made from thin, high-strength galvanized steel formed at room temperature. Unlike hot-rolled steel, cold-formed components are lightweight, extremely straight, corrosion-resistant, and manufactured with tight CNC tolerances.

They are commonly used for walls, floors, roofs, and prefabricated panels in residential, commercial, and modular construction.

Cold-formed steel is manufactured by roll-forming thin galvanized sheet steel into precise shapes such as studs, tracks, joists, and trusses. It’s lightweight, accurate, and designed for wall and roof framing. Hot-rolled steel is heavier, thicker, and produced by melting and shaping steel at high temperatures — typically used for beams, columns, and heavy structural work.

LSF (cold-formed steel) is ideal for fast, efficient building systems where accuracy, weight reduction, and prefabrication matter.

All our products are manufactured from hot-dip galvanized steel, ASTM A653 PD, specifically engineered for cold-formed light steel framing. This material provides excellent strength, corrosion resistance, and long-term durability across all structural and non-structural applications.

Yes. Our cold-formed steel components are fabricated to meet local and national building code standards for cold-formed steel framing. All components are produced under controlled conditions to ensure quality and consistency.

We provide framing components for residential, commercial, institutional, condominium, high-rise, and prefabricated construction projects. To learn more, visit Sectors.

Light steel framing is ideal for a wide range of building types thanks to its strength, accuracy, and fast installation. It works especially well for small residential units, additions, and modular-style builds, including garden suites, lane-home projects, and accessory dwelling units.

It’s also commonly used in interior partitions, exterior wall systems, roof structures, commercial spaces, and prefabricated panels where consistency and speed matter most.

Yes. We manufacture precision-made panelized frames and cold-formed steel components that are ideal for prefabricated and modular construction. Our CNC-cut studs, tracks, joists, rafters, and custom panels are designed to streamline assembly, reduce onsite labor, and integrate smoothly into modular building workflows. We offer both standard profiles and custom-sized components, depending on the machine and product type. Some of our equipment produces strict, predefined sizes, while others can manufacture custom dimensions within a specific range.

The best option depends on your project requirements; share your details with us and we’ll guide you to the right solution.
